Chair Yoga

Calendar Oct 10, 2018 at 10 am, runs for 8 weeks

Experience the benefits of yoga even if getting down on the floor is difficult, or if you are unsteady on your feet. Combining movement with breath work can improve stress and increase strength and flexibility. Learn poses you can even do right in your office chair to relax and recharge!

Dates: Wednesday, Oct. 10 - Dec. 12; 10-11 AM (no session 10/31 and 11/21)

Drums Alive: Golden Beats

This class is designed to get your heart rate up and improve physical and mental fitness while having fun. Work your entire body (including your brain) and reduce stress by drumming on exercise balls. Golden Beats can be done sitting or standing, and is appropriate for all levels.

Dates: Tuesday, Oct.16-Dec. 4, 10-11 a.m. (no session 11/6)

Forest Bathing

Forest bathing, a term coined in Japan for mindfully being present in nature, embraces the fact that nature has a calming, positive effect on our health. Join Registered Maine Guide Ray Reitze in exploring the concept of stillness while visiting a beautiful local treasure and learn techniques to practice at home. The terrain being walked/explored is uneven.

Dates: Friday, Oct. 12; 5-6:30 p.m.
