First Friday Lunch (Employees Only)

Free

with Benjamin Ramsdell, MaineGeneral Prevention & Healthy Living

Calendar Nov 2, 2018 at 12 pm

Do you like food? How about a FREE lunch? Beginning in November, Prevention & Healthy Living (PHL) will host monthly First Friday employee lunches at the Alfond Center for Health. Come to our Teaching Kitchen and start with a quick cooking lesson with our chef Ben Ramsdell. He will introduce some basic cooking techniques, and do a demonstration of the recipe you’ll have. You can then sit and enjoy the food while hearing about programs and opportunities available from Workplace Health and PHL. Ask questions, get answers and learn cooking skills, all while enjoying a free lunch! It’ll be fun, informative, interactive, and a great way to break up the day! Sign up online through Connect/Classes & Events. Please only sign up for one lunch so we can engage as many employees as possible. Space is limited , so if you can’t get in on your first try, come join us another time! If this is popular, we plan to expand it to other locations. To learn more, email Ben Ramsdell at Benjamin.ramsdell@mainegeneral.org.
