Getting in the Meditation Mindset

In the Western world, what some refer to as meditation is actually us practicing bringing our focus or concentration to rest on one focal point and learning to relax there. Many people find this a challenge in our world today with so many things we want to do and accomplish. In this class, we will learn and practice a different Dharana or concentration practice each week that can help us achieve a true meditative state so that we can reap all the benefits of true meditation. This is not a yoga class.
Date: Monday, April 13-27; 7-8 p.m. (3 sessions)
