Participants will learn about safety precautions, first-aid basics and tips to ensure a smooth hike, then head to Bond Brook Trails. The last session will be nearby on a small mountain and will last 3-4 hours.

Restorative Yoga

Unwind from the day with an evening restorative yoga. Props will be used to allow your body to open to the poses and rest for longer periods of time. This yoga style is a much slower practice and integrates a sense of healing and meditation. Restorative yoga is for any level, but you must be able to get down to the floor on a mat.

Yin Yoga - SAT

Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods of time, while relaxing muscles and focusing on breathing. Great for all body types (beginners, seniors, athletes), especially those with joint issues. Benefits of this “quiet yoga” include decreased tightness and improved joint mobility and range of motion.

Date: Saturday, Aug. 31-Sept. 21; 9-10:15 a.m. (4 sessions)
