Grillin' with Dad

In honor of Father's Day, come and enjoy a cooking class with your dad. Class participants will do all the prep work and learn tips for grilling all different types of foods. The best part, of course, is then sitting down to eat. A great gift for dad from 'kids' from ages 7-70!

Experience the perfect balance between the advantages of personal training and the affordability and motivation of group exercise! In this class you will become familiar with gym equipment, learn proper techniques and develop a personalized fitness plan you can continue on your own outside of class. This class is appropriate for all levels as you will work at your own speed, intensity and ability. Trial membership at the KV YMCA is included for the 8-week session.

Introduction to Karate

In this four-week course, students of a variety of ages and abilities will be introduced to Goju Ryu Karate, including the language, philosophy and physical techniques. By learning traditional, non-competitive methods of karate, participants will benefit from improving fitness (balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, etc.) and the fostering of the mind-body-spirit connection. For ages 15 and older.
